4 items tax increases mechanical machinery imports

Brewing, manufacturing paper or paperboard, hulled coffee grinder and parts washers are 4 items under the Ministry of Finance is expected to increase the tax from 2 to 3%.
The Ministry of Finance has published a draft circular amending the import duty rates for certain preference items mechanical machines including brewing machines, manufacturing paper or paperboard machine, coffee grinder, hulled and parts washers.

This is 4 PLU mechanical machines on the list of imported goods can be produced domestically.

Specifically: brewing - 8438.40.00 PLU from 3% to 5%; machines for paper or paperboard - 8439.20.00 PLU from 2% to 5%; items of washing machine parts - 8450.90.10 and 8450.90.20 PLU from 3% to 5%; hulled coffee machine - 8438.80.11 PLU from 3% to 5%.

According to calculations, in the case of adjusting the import tax rates of above mentioned items, the tax revenue is expected to increase imports of nearly 24 billion.
